Cookie

Cookie lived at a daycare center where he was terrorized by young children. He did not care for the constant attention of children who were not careful with him. When he came to the shelter he was very afraid and let people know that he did not want to be touched. After just a few days in the more quiet environment of the dog shelter, where people speak to him nicely and treat him gently, he has become a different dog. He is so grateful for a nice quiet place where people care how he feels, and what he wants. He adores the people now and is happy and friendly. Cookie will be a great dog for a quiet home. He loves to sit with the people and be petted. He looks longingly into our eyes and loves laying on warm, soft blankets and having his head gently stroked. He also likes to play now too.
Cookie is a male terrier mix. He was born in January of 2003 and weighs 22 pounds.
