Jaycee

Jaycee is a one big barrel of fun! How such a funloving, adorable young pup ended up in a city pound is beyond comprehension. He is smart as can be. He is learning to sit and walk on a leash. Really anything that is rewarded with playtime or treats he will gladly do with gusto! Jaycee loves humans and other dogs and will just play and play all day with them!
Jaycee is a Jack Russell Terrier mix. He was born in January of 2006.Jack Russell Terrier for adoption

Mugsy | Glendale Shelter

MUGSY
Mugsy is a fun-loving guy rescued from the Baldwin Park shelter. He has a cute little underbite and an outgoing, happy-go-lucky personality. Loves to play and share his toys with you. Mugsy is good with other dogs, but is not a candidate for a home with cats. He is 4-5 years old and 15-20 lbs.

Willow | Glendale Shelter

WILLOWWILLOW - Female, Terrier mixAdopted
Willow was rescued from the Lancaster shelter in early February. As we approached her kennel, she began to give birth to the first of eleven puppies! As soon as they could be moved, we transported them down to a local foster home. Willow is sweet, affectionate, super-playful, and seems to like everyone she meets. Practically a puppy herself, Willow has been a good-natured and patient mama. Now that her work is done, she is ready for a home of her own. Willow would be a wonderful addition to an active household. She is great with other dogs and would probably be fine with cats. Willow is 1-2 years old and about 40 lbs.

Snoop Doggy Dogg in Glendale

SNOOPSnoop is a compact guy recently rescued from the Baldwin Park shelter. We think he looks like a miniature version of a yellow Lab. He is an easy-going fellow who gets along well with other dogs, seems fine around kitties, and seems to like everyone. Snoop is 1-2 years old and 25 lbs.

Windsor is playful, good with other dogs, and would be a fun companion for an active household. He is one year-old and 25-30 lbs.

Oscar | Looking for Love

Oscar was in a home since 1996 until he was brought to HUA in September of 2005.
His person loved him deeply, but eventually was not able to exercise him properly. Perhaps in an attempt to make up for this, his person gave him too many treats and did not adjust his diet. He is obviously extremely over weight. We think, in a sad way, this demonstrates how much his person loved him.

Initially, Oscar was very sad over the loss of his home. But he has adjusted to his new temporary life at HUA. He seems to look for the good in life. He’s become an outgoing, friendly fellow who loves people and other dogs.

Beagles are prone to weight gain and are not for every household. They need regular exercise. They are scent hounds and should never be off a leash unless confined in a fenced yard.
Oscar needs a home where he will be pampered with love and affection, but worked. He needs to be walked, at a pace and distance he can handle. He needs to loose weight gradually. Your veterinarian will help determine an action plan.

Oscar is just a great dog, waiting to be turned into an even greater, happier, healthier dog. He deserves another loving home! A special home.

Oscar has been neutered is current on health care.
