India didn't have a Valentine

INDIA - Female, Maltese-Poodle mixAvailable: NOW
India is a petite dog brought in by her owner. He could no longer care for her and truth be told, she was in deplorable condition. Her coat was so matted she needed to be shaved down. She is sweet and loving with those she knows and trusts, but is too delicate for a home with small children. India is 2-3 years old and under 10 lbs.

New Wheels | Not for the faint of heart

Telly was given to an HUA volunteer in a cardboard box that was covered in blood, skin and dirt. He was wrapped in a poop encrusted blanket. He has been paralyzed for six months. His back legs are completely atrophied. He was never given an x-ray or proper medical care. The HUA volunteer asked our vet why his stomach was so enlarged when he appeared to be emaciated. The answer was that his bladder probably had not been emptied fully for the entire six months. The smell of blood and infection in the urine was so overwhelming it almost made people faint. His skin is peeling off by the bucket loads.

Phillipe is Afraid

Phillippe is afraid. His world has been turned upside down. His family decided they did not have time for him anymore. He was left in the yard with a Rottweiler. He was not groomed or taken to the vet. You can see in his eyes that he is scared in spite of his big brave Chihuahua front. Phillippe has a big heart. It will be great for him to finally find a person worthy of his love and devotion, who will care for him always.Phillippe is was born 03/08/04. He is a male Chihuahua who weighs 9 pounds. He has the most unique, gorgeous coloring.
